Can I order white or coated chipboard pads?
Yes. We offer plain chipboard as well as polycoated, solid kraft, solid bleached white, clay-coated kraft, white clay-coated newsback, uncoated newsback, and specialty grades. Feel free to order a sample to get a feel for our substrate options.
What are chipboard pads used for?
Chipboard pads are great for adding protection to products shipped on pallets, or adding strength to notebooks or envelopes.
Can I use chipboard in place of plywood?
It depends on the end-use. Chipboard pads can be made as thick as .400 pts. If you aren’t sure, just let us know and we can help you find the best product for your application.
